"Z-Jigs"

The "OLD" is "NEW", again!

We've been making these totally unique, powder-painted, Purple-"Z-Jigs" (aka: purple-hair-jigs) for our Lake Erie customers, for a good number of years.
Beginning in January 2008; we're finally making them available to all of our online customers.

These "Z-Jigs" (hair-jigs) are available in sizes; 3/8 oz., 1/2 oz., 5/8 oz., 3/4 oz., and 1 oz.
The 3/8 oz., 1/2 oz & 5/8 oz. sizes, are available in an O'Shaughnessey-Style, 2/0 hook.
The 5/8 oz., 3/4 oz., and 1 oz. sizes, are available with a size 4/0, O'Shaughnessey-Style hook.

These "Z-Jigs" (hair-jigs) were originally intended to be vertically-jigged, specifically for Walleye.
They served that specific purpose, extremely well, for a lot of years.
Three years ago, a few of our Charter-Captain clients & several of our Smallmouth-Bass customers, asked if we could add silicone skirts to their jigs, instead of the hair that we'd been using.
What a totally remarkable difference those silicone skirts make! It increases the profile of the jig, and adds even more action & bouyancy to it (even at rest).

Now I have to honestly say that these "Z-Jigs" can be used for just about any species of fresh-water game-fish. They've been used with a lip-hooked minnow, a leech, and even a Single-Tail Grub or pork spin-strip attached to the main-hook. Each different trailer type adds an entirely different look & action to the jig.

Each jig comes with a removable, 3"-long, hand-tied, #10-treble stinger-hook, already attached to the 2/0 or 4/0 main jig-hook.

Like all but one style of our jigs; these are ready for you to tie on & fish ~ right out of the package.
